  2. Yangon (formerly Rangoon) is the largest city in Myanmar (formerly Burma). A mix of colonial architecture, modern high-rises and gilded Buddhist pagodas define its skyline. Its famed Shwedagon Paya, a huge, shimmering pagoda complex, draws thousands of pilgrims annually. The city's other notable religious sites include the Botataung and Sule pagodas, both housing Buddhist relics.

What's the best time to travel to Yangoon in Myanmar(Burma)? Here are some facts:

220 Volts AC. In Yangon, AC Wall plug in most hotels uses the same 2 or 3 pin that we use in Singapore. However, please bring international adapter as well.

Arrive to Yangon by 8M232(1515H).

DAY 2: YANGON -  GOLDEN ROCK 

After breakfast, start to visit Yangon City Center surrounded by various colonial style buildings of World War II.City Hall  & Independent Monument for photo shots. 







Drive to Kyaikhtiyo - the largest domestic tourism center located about 168 km from Yangon to visit the miracle pagoda named Golden Rock Pagoda-enshrine a hair relic of Buddha. On arrive at Kinpun base camp & take the local open trucks (non roof, non aircon) to the truck terminal near the foot of Golden Rock Pagoda.






Mountain Top Hotel

DAY 3: GODLEN ROCK  – BAGO – YANGON

After breakfast, proceed to Golden Rock, Kyaiktiyo Pagoda is a well-known Buddhist pilgrimage site in Mon State, Burma. It is a small pagoda built on the top of a granite boulder covered with gold leaves pasted on by devotees.










Drive to Bago– an ancient Capital of Mon Kingdom-80km North East of Yangon.
Sightseeing Bago includes Chinese Temple; Foot of Shwethalyaung Pagoda where can see the many vendors along the stairways & surrounding & can buy the variety of Myanmar handicrafts & can observe the wood carving.

DAY 4:  YANGON

Chinatown where can see the many vendors on the platform & can buy the variety of Myanmar products & tropical fruits. 




proceed to Bogyoke Market used to called Scotts Market – the largest market in Yangon with time to browse among hundred of stalls for souvenir bargains.





Visit to Shwedagon Pagoda- forms the focus of religious as well as community activities – the bustling of devotees and monks washing the statues, offering flowers, worshiping, and meditating. Shwedagon Pagoda is administered by the Board of Trustees of Shwedagon Pagoda.

DAY 5: YANGON - SINGAPORE 

Transfer to Yangon Int’l airport for departure by 8M 231 Yangon – Singapore ETD 0825H.
